Jolly Juliana - An Original Melodrama & Holiday Vaudeville

Written and Directed by Larry Williams

A delightful, heart-warming, extravaganza commemorating the roots of American theatre; sing-a-long, hiss, boo and cheer for a villain, hero and heroine. A merry company of players will bring you a menagerie of entertainment sure to be a highlight of your holiday season.

Enriching Post-Show Discussions!

Join us after the Saturday matinees on December 13th and 20th for a discussion about the history of the show, including Santa Rosa railroads circa 1905, and the art forms of melodrama, vaudeville, and medicine shows. Dramaturg Dr. Nadja Masura, who holds a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Maryland, will lead these free discussions in the theatre. No reservations required!

"A delightful slice of nineteenth-century Americana is being served up in its world premiere at 6th Street Playhouse complete with old-timey footlights, just perfect for the holidays..." (The Sonoma County Gazette, reviewed by Suzanne and Greg Angeo)

"6th Street Playhouse is offering a new production that will end up being your new holiday tradition... At a time where other theaters are offering shows done last year, you have the amazing choice to go see something original and lots of fun." (The Community Voice, reviewed by Don Gibble)
