KYLE JURASSIC* (Buddy Holly) is thrilled to be making his 6th Street Playhouse and Bay Area debut! He has performed Buddy all over the country, most recently at Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre in Indianapolis. A graduate of Cornerstone University, he holds a Bachelor’s of Music Performance. Kyle is also the host of “The Aspiring Actor’s Guide to New York” on YouTube, a how-to guide for actors new to the city. Previous credits include The 10th Anniversary Tour of Rock of Ages, Million Dollar Quartet, Catch Me if You Can, Spamalot, Forever Plaid, The Wedding Singer, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson!, Little Shop of Horrors, Altar Boyz, Avenue Q, Grease, and Hit Her With The Skates. STEVE LASITER (Hayrider/Decca Engineer/4th Cricket/DJ–WWOL/Dominic/Tommy Allsup) is excited to return to 6th Street! He was last seen here as Johnny Cash in last season’s hit, Million Dollar Quartet. Favorite roles include Johnny Cash in MDQ, Dr. Frank N. Furter in Rocky Horror Show, Billy Flynn in Chicago, and Kenickie in Grease. Enjoy the show and let’s rock n’ roll!
NICK AMBROSINO (Jerry Allison/One of the Belmonts) resides in the North Bay and is the drummer for Christopher Alexander and up-and-coming Bay Area rapper, Tru Lyric. His recent theater productions include Million Dollar Quartet and West Side Story (both at 6th Street), My Fair Lady (Sonoma Arts Live), and Cinderella (Spreckels) Additionally, Nick has performed and/or arranged for The King & Marilyn, Holland America Line, Ariana LaMark, Jacqui Carrasco, and Disclaimer.
ENGIN YEŞILYEMIŞ (Joe B. Mauldin/One of the Belmonts) is a student at Santa Rosa Junior College. His first musical pit position was bass chair at here at 6th Street for Guys and Dolls (2018). Since then, he’s played hi bass in Shrek, Jesus Christ Superstar, Gypsy, and Oliver. Buddy will be his first acting performance.
JOHN BANISTER (Music Supervisor Norman Petty/Hayrider) has an array of musical theater credits, which include: West End–Jailhouse Rock (u/s Elvis), Great Balls of Fire, Song of Singapore, and The Sound Of Music. He is the official Music Supervisor for Buddy (Buddy Worldwide Productions [London, UK]), and he has also been the understudy for the role of Buddy Holly. Now living in Calgary, Canada, with his wife, Jennifer, he works regularly for The Mayfield Dinner Theatre in Edmonton where he was nominated for Most Outstanding Music Director (Buddy) and is now co-writing a show set to debut there in 2021.

MARC ASSAD (Ritchie Valens/KDAV Engineer/ DJ–KPST/Photographer), who played Ritchie Valens at 6th Street in a previous season, would like to dedicate this performance to a dear friend, Robert Finney, a true great of this show’s past. Marc’s favorite roles include: Bella Zangler in Crazy for You, Self in Smokey Joes Cafe, and of course Ritchie Valens. Marc’s last film was What Metal Girls are Into, now available on Amazon Prime.
SETH DAHLGREN (Hayrider/Decca Producer/ Murray Deutsch/English DJ/The Big Bopper) previously appeared at 6th Street as Sir Toby Belch in Illyria, and is excited to return for an encore performance of the Big Bopper. He was nominated for TBA and SFBATCC awards for his performance in Avenue Q as Nicky and Trekkie Monster.
CHARLIE WHITAKER (Frigo Jingle Singer/ Maria Elena Holly/Snowbird), a native of the Philippines, moved to the US in 2016. A singer and dancer, she only recently ventured into acting. A Vocal Performance Major at SRJC, she did her first production, Shrek the Musical, there in Fall 2018. She began with 6th Street as an ensemble player for West Side Story, and will work on projects with other local theaters in the coming seasons.
JENNIFER BANISTER (Hayrider/Frigo Jingle Singer/Vi Petty/Angie/Snowbird) is excited to be playing opposite her real-life husband! Previous Buddy credits include 2013 AEA International Tour, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse (The Music Hall, Portsmouth), LittleTheatre on the Square, and Lyric Theatre in Oklahoma. Other work includes Ring of Fire, The Sound of Music (Maria), As You Like It (Rosalind), Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, and Surflight Theatre. Thanks to DJ.
SERENA ELIZE FLORES (Laverne, Apollo Performer/Snowbird) has been performing in the Bay Area for the past 5 years. Favorite roles include Marianne (The Revolutionists), Morticia (The Addams Family), Rita (The Naked Truth–US premiere), Yaz (Water by the Spoonful), Columbia (The Rocky Horror Show), Jenny Diver (The Threepenny Opera), Nickie (Sweet Charity), and Francine/Lena (Clybourne Park–TBA Best Actress nominee/Best Ensemble win).
TREVOR HOFFMANN (Decca Side Musician/ DJ-KCLS/Apollo Interview DJ/Photographer/ Dion/Jack Daw) A locally-grown actor, Trevor’s credits include: Harold Hill (Music Man, SRJC), Ash (Barbecue Apocalypse, Spreckels), MC/Ensemble (On the Town, DTC), and the voice of Ben on Telltale Games’ 2012 Game of the Year, The Walking Dead. 6th Street audiences may recognize him as Jerry (Full Monty), Bert Healy (Annie), or the wall-flipping Cosmo (Singin’ in the Rain). Trevor’s local directing credits include Assassins and The Fantasticks! at Sonoma Arts Live.
CLAY XAVIER (Lloyd, Apollo Performer/ Belmont/Saxophone Player In Clearlake Concert) is a saxophonist, composer, and producer based in Berkeley. His work is expansive from writing music for podcasts and video to playing genre-bending music at the crossroads of hip-hop and jazz. Beyond his instrumental and composition work he also hosts a radio show in downtown Oakland on ADP.FM. JENNIFER BARNABA (Frigo Jingle Singer/ Shirley/Peggy Sue/Marylou Sokoloff/Keyboards) is happy to be making her 6th Street debut. Favorite credits include Next to Normal (Natalie), West Side Story (Maria), The Addams Family (Wednesday), A Little Night Music (Anne), Mamma Mia! (Sophie u/s & Ali), Violet (Young Violet), Boeing Boeing (Gabriella), Footloose, Oklahoma! and The Producers. She has a B.F.A. in musical theatre (Ohio Northern University). Much love to her friends and family!
RON LARSON (Trombone Player In Clearlake Concert) is a Bay Area jazz, latin, and classical performer. He plays and teaches tenor and bass trombone, euphonium, tuba, and conch shells. Ron has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, Peter Schickele, Bob Hope, Leonard Slatkin, Les Brown, Rhonda Fleming, Jeremy Cohen, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and Disney On Ice. Ron returns to 6th Street after playing in Gypsy.
