Kathy Fitzgerald* as Momma Rose
A Broadway character actress extraordinaire, Kathy Fitzgerald got her Great White Way start playing multiple roles in the Johnny Burke revue Swinging on a Star. She's juggled several characters, including fabulously butch lighting designer Shirley Markovitz, during her six-year stint in the original Producers (onstage with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick). Other Broadway credits include the scene-stealing office assistant Roz in 9 to 5 with Dolly Parton, roles in The Next Three Days and Our Idiot Brother, and the malicious headmistress Madame Morrible in Wicked. Kathy is currently taking a break from the Broadway National Tour of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory to perform at 6th Street Playhouse!
Roger Michelson* as Herbie
Roger had the pleasure of drawing his first paycheck as an actor at SRT right here in Santa Rosa 40 years ago in the summer of ‘79. In the interim, he has worked in the regions, lived in NYC for 25 years where he was a member of Circle Rep and a regular on David Letterman, got married to Kathy, and became the Father of Hope, both of whom are involved in this production. Carmen Mitchell* as Louise
Carmen grew up as a competitive figure skater and ballet dancer. She now works as a professional singer and actor. Carmen’s credits include many leading roles in musicals, short films, commercials, concerts, and professional ice shows. Favorites include: Christine Daae in Phantom of the Opera, Maria in West Side Story, Fantine in Les Misérables, and Juliet in Romeo & Juliet. Melody Payne as Dainty June
Melody is excited to making her 6th Street Playhouse debut. This Elly Award winning actress (Penny in Hairspray) has worked with theaters from Sacramento to the Bay. From precocious redhead from Green Gables, 5th place (out of 5) in the Miss Firecracker Contest, naive hippy in Hair, head cheerleader at Rydell…She and her Farm Boys are ready to entertain you!
Cecilia Brenner as Young Louise
Cecilia is excited to be performing in her third production at 6th St and was last seen in To Kill a Mockingbird. She has been acting for four years and her most recent roles include an orphan in Annie, the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Charlie Cowell in The Music Man, Jr., and Prince John in Robin Hood: Naught in Nottingham.
Gigi Bruce-Low as Baby June
Gigi is thrilled to be making her 6th Street debut. Gigi has danced in Petaluma School of Ballet’s The Nutcracker. This past season, she performed on The Throckmorton Main Stage as the littlest lioness in The Lion King and in her school musical as Jemima Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Gigi loves sparkles, twirling, her friends and family, and mathematics. She dedicates this performance to her Grams, Linda Low.
Elaine Jennings as Mazeppa/Renee, Maid/Mother
Elaine is delighted to be performing with 6th St. Recent roles include Tanya (Mamma Mia!), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Hallie (Cradle Will Rock), Prin (Oedipus, Palm Springs), Alice B. Toklas (Gertrude Stein and a Companion, Theatre Rhinoceros), Sister Aloysius in Doubt, Kate in Brighton Beach Memoirs and Juliana in The Other Place.
Lillian Myers as Electra/Mother/Crachitt
Lillian toured as a red nose clown with the Performers Without Borders Social Circus (UK) in India and Kenya, and Hand Spring Puppet Theater (South Africa) with Stravinsky’s Fire Bird. She worked as crisis in training actor with the Colorado Police Dept. She holds a BFA in Contemplative Theater & Education from Naropa University. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Tracy Hinman as Tessie Tura/Ensemble
Tracy holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Cal State Hayward and an MFA in Costume Design from San Diego State. She is the soloist for the First Church of Christ Science in Santa Rosa, and works full-time for Alegre Home Care, where one of her favorite things is leading showtune singalongs for seniors. She last appeared on stage at 6th Street in Illyria and A Little Night Music.
Harry Farmer as Pop/Ensemble
Harry has been part of the Sonoma County theatre community for over 20 years. He has also worked professionally in film, commercials, and print. This is his first production with 6th Street.
Khalid Shayota as Weber/Ensemble
Khalid was bit by the acting bug when he took his first class at Santa Rosa Junior College in 1995. Some of the parts he’s played since: Volmont in Dangerous Liaisons, Mr Garcia in How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents, and Doremus in It Can’t Happen Here. He has worked at The Aurora Theater and as an understudy at Berkeley Rep in The Good Book. Khalid has also played the part of Saddam Hussein National Geographic Channel’s Documentary, “Interrogating Saddam”. This is Khalid’s 6th Street debut.
Guy Conner as Mr. Goldstone/Bourgeron-Cochon/Ensemble
Guy was last seen in 6th Street’s To Kill a Mockingbird. He first went on the stage at the age of seven, and appeared in various theatrical productions until his career took two very different turns— first as a software engineer, and then as a politician. He is now very happy to have returned to his first love—acting, appearing most recently as the Apothecary in the Petaluma Shakespeare Company production of Speechless Shakespeare.
Landon Scott as Yonkers/Young Men’s Ensemble
Landon was last seen in 6th Street’s West Side Story. After a year-long acting hiatus working full time, Landon is ready to put the pedal to the metal and rock the house in this classic broadway show!
Zach Frangos as Tulsa/Young Men’s Ensemble
Zach was last seen in 6th St’s West Side Story. In 2016, he dove into ballet and now performs regularly with Contemporary and Classical Dance with Tamara Grose and most recently in Spreckels’ Cinderella. This summer, he will return to Joffrey Ballet School in NYC.
Austin Maisler as LA/Young Men’s Ensemble/Cow 2
Austin is very excited to be returning to 6th St after performing in Guys and Dolls and Illyria. He hopes you enjoy the show as much as he enjoys performing in it.
Bennett Parisi as Angie/Young Men’s Ensemble
Bennett was last seen in 6th St’s West Side Story. A student at Montgomery High School, Bennett is a member of the school’s Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. He has performed many vocal pieces including the Madrigal Feast. He is thrilled to be a part of the cast and thanks you for coming to the show.
Robby Campbell as Chauffeur/Young Men’s Ensemble/Cow #2
Robby graduated from Maria Carrillo High School in 2019 and is currently pursuing an engineering degree at Santa RosaJunior College. He has worked on many productions including Pippin, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Music Man, and As You Like It, although this is his first time acting in a professional production.
Montana Hamel as Young Women’s Ensemble/Cow #1
Montana was last seen in 6th St’s West Side Story. Her first production, Fairy Worlds, (Shakespeare in the Cannery) ignited her passion for theater. Her favorite acting and dance credits include numerous roles in The Nutcracker (Sebastopol Ballet), Grease, Viola in Plot Against Shakespeare and Pamona in Metamorphoses. Montana is thrilled to be working with this talented cast and crew and hopes you enjoy the show!
Peri Zoe Yildirim-Stanley as Waitress/Young Women’s Ensemble/Cow #1
Peri Zoe has been a part of 6th Street for many years and was last seen in West Side Story and Annie. She’s been Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins, Nala in The Lion King, a part of Speechless Shakespeare, and the co-writer and musicaldirector of Transition Town. An avid musical theatre fan and performer, she’d love to make a living out of it.
Sarah Cornett as Young Women’s Ensemble
Sarah was last seen in 6th St’s West Side Story. She is in her third year at Technology High School and was just elected as their Student Body Secretary for the 2019-2020 school year. She has participated in a number of productions at Spreckels including Titanic: The Musical and Peter Pan.
Madeline Brown as Young Women’s Ensemble
Madeline was last seen in 6th St’s West Side Story. With 17 years of classical ballet training, she has also performed in multiple musicals that include Cats, Sweet Charity, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella. She and her husband settled down in Santa Rosa where the local theater was calling for her return and is thrilled to be a part of a wonderful ensemble.
Allison Paine as Young Women’s Ensemble
Allison rekindled her love for acting two years ago and has been dedicated to learning and performing ever since. She has appeared in the last few productions at the Santa Rosa Junior College and is currently working on achieving a degree in theater arts. Presently she is focused on sharing her passion for acting with the people in our local theatrical community.
Liev Bruce-Low as Boy w/Clarinet/Children's Ensemble
Liev is living one of his dreams backing up his little sister Gigi in this show. Last season, Liev was seen at 6th Street Playhouse in the role of Dill in To Kill a Mockingbird. This summer he brought a visionary emo version of Pumbaa to the stage in The Lion King at The Throckmorton in Mill Valley while also carrying the role of famed psychopath and fried chicken fan, Young Clyde, in Bonnie and Clyde in The Summer Repertory Theatre Festival here in Santa Rosa.
Rekha Healy as Children's Ensemble
Rekha has taken classes at the Playhouse for the past two summers. Rekha was born in Los Angeles and is currently in 8th grade. Rekha’s hobbies include drawing, playing the piano, photography, martial arts, and Indian classical dances.
Dmitry Walters as Children's Ensemble/Rich Man's Son
Dmitry is excited to make his 6th Street debut! He is in 4th grade at University Elementary at La Fiesta and has appeared in his school’s production of Charlotte’s Web and Missoula Children’s Theater’s production of Robin Hood. His favorite things to do in his spare time are singing, dancing, and going camping with his family and puppies.
Maggie Ward as Girl w/ Balloons/Children's Ensemble
Maggie was last seen in To Kill a Mockingbird at 6th St. She is 11 years old and has been acting since she was five. Recent roles include Gavroche in Les Miserables (MTME), Kate in Annie (6SP), Young Fiona in Shrek (Raven Theater) and Young Frankenstein (Raven Theater). She is excited to be part of the cast and hopes you enjoy the show!
Juliette Cote' as Children's Ensemble
Juliette is happy to return to 6th St. She has appeared in Annie, A Christmas Carol, in the 6th Street Youth Program as Young Nala in The Lion King Jr., and as Little Alice in Alice in Wonderland Jr. She also played Gracie Shin in Spreckles Youth Program’s The Music Man Jr.
Jacinta Gorringe as Electra/Mother/Crachitt Understudy
Jacinta last appeared at 6th Street as Martha in White Christmas. Other roles: At the Cabaret Chat Noir, Rolande (American Theater Ventures); Camille, Prudence; Steel Magnolias, Clairee; Annie-Miss Hannigan (SRT); Neon Psalms, Barbara (Magic Theater); Evita, Mama Duarte (San Jose CLO), The Suicide, Morticia (P.C.P.A.); 50 Million Frenchmen, Gladys (42 nd St. Moon); Two By Two, Esther (Spreckles).
