About The Windsor Arts Council
The Windsor Arts Council is a nonprofit organization that strives to foster cultural enrichment and promote the arts in the local community. Originally based in Windsor, California, the Council is now open to all artists in Sonoma County and the surrounding communities. The organization, formed in the late 1990s, began as a social group for artists and grew into a membership based organization with a gallery in Windsor. With the closure of the Windsor Gallery, the council expanded its boundaries to include the greater art community. The Windsor Arts Council is proud to form a partnership with the 6th Street Playhouse to promote and showcase art in the newly created “Studio Gallery” at the 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa. The new gallery offers a variety of shows, mostly juried, open to all mediums: oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, photography, sculpture, installation, mixed and multimedia. Our current board members: Pascal Jean Druzgala, President; Rick Blundell, Vice President, Membership Coordinator, and Webmaster; Catherine Daley, Art Council Adviser; Vicki Stockette, Secretary Treasurer; and Brent Gudzus, Social Media and Press.
