Theater is an amazing tool for teens to express themselves. It calls for big emotions and encourages you to be true to yourself; it helps you see the world through another person’s eyes and support your fellow performers. This class will give you the opportunity to discover your inner artist and find your place in this crazy world through improvisation, character studies, scene writing, monologue work, and some circus arts, including juggling and acrobalance.

Get serious about being funny! | #503

Love laughing? Love making people laugh? Then come and immerse yourself in the world of physical comedy in this insanely fun, hands-on class utilizing improv, clowning, and scriptwriting. You’ll learn how to create tension, utilize rhythm, and develop an instinct for comedic timing as well as try your hand at juggling and sock poi. “Fun” is the operative word here!

Acting Essentials: Scene Study | #602

Actors have a multitude of tools in their belts, from deep textual analysis to empathy, from physical flexibility and movement skills to vocal range and breath control. You’ll receive instruction and feedback on all of these skills in this essential course. The class will give you a solid bedrock of theater history as well as the landscape of contemporary performance. In the final class you’ll get to share what you’ve learned when you and your classmates present a showcase of scenes and monologues for friends and family.

Mini-Camp (Ages 13-17)

Finding Your Voice | #702

Instructor: Alexandra Moore

Nobody sees the world in quite the same way, and everyone has a unique way of thinking. In this course, you’re encouraged to embrace you individuality through writing and theater. Whether it’s choosing a real memory from your life or a fictional story through which you can express your thoughts, this class will give you the opportunity to tell your story in a variety of ways. Theater games and introductions to acting techniques will enhance your understanding of dramatic storytelling. You can perform in your own piece and those of your classmates on the last day of class in a final performance, which family and friends are welcome to attend.

July 30–August 10, Monday–Friday

Classes require a 50% deposit at registration.  Tuition is due in full by the first day of class.  Limited scholarships and payment plans are available (Scholarship Application); contact




We understand that you may find a class is not what you expected, or that life circumstances may change after you enroll. If you choose to withdraw, you may submit written notification prior to the second class. A $25 processing fee will be applied to defer costs plus prorate for classes attended.  A check for the remaining balance will be sent in approximately two weeks  There will be no make-up classes or refunds for missed classes.
