Joseph Favalora - Camp Director/Choreographer
Joseph is very excited to be working with 6th Street Playhouse. He is the recipient of two San Francisco Bay area theater critic circle awards for excellence in choreography. The first is with Cinnabar’s Fiddler on the Roof and the second with 6th Street Playhouse's Thoroughly Modern Millie. His professional Broadway credits span 15 years and include, Beauty and the Beast, Cathy Rigby’s Peter Pan, National Tour of Cats (Mr. Mistoffelees), and Baby John in the international tour of West Side Story. Joseph is currently in the Santa Rosa Junior College Theatre Arts Program. He is driven by his life-long love of the performing arts and his goal is to one day create an original work that will be performed throughout the world.
Tina Lloyd Meals - Music Director
Tina has been living and working in Sonoma County since 1987, though she hails from the Mid-West. She graduated from Northern Illinois University cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in voice performance and then continued studies in opera at USC. Tina has performed extensively in the San Francisco Bay area with such groups as the San Francisco Opera Chorus, Pocket Opera, North Bay Lyric Opera, and Sonoma City Opera. She has performed and recorded with the Fulton Chorale in performances at Yosemite's Ahwahnee Hotel for the Bracebridge Dinners. She has also worked as pianist and music director for Broadway Bound Kids Children's Musical Theater in many productions ("Annie", "Oliver", "Peter Pan", and "Into the Woods"). Tina played Rona Lisa Peretti and vocal directed “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and appeared as Dolly Levi in “Hello Dolly” at the Raven in Healdsburg and has performed in “Camelot”, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”, and as Marmee in “Litte Women” at Spreckles Performing Arts Center. She has also music directed “Scrooge”, “Mary Poppins” and “The Little Mermaid” at Spreckels. At 6th St Playhouse, Tina has music directed “The Full Monty”, “The Great American Trailer Park Musical”, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and two runs of “The Rocky Horror Show” in addition to youth productions, “Shrek, Jr.” and “West End Stories, the Way We Listen.” Tina has been teaching and coaching voice privately for over 20 years, and was previously certified as a Speech Level Singing instructor and is currently the North Bay Area Representative for the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) and is a certified Instructor III.
