Let your students experience and learn from the classic play To Kill a Mockingbird!
Introducing Student Matinees at 6th Street Playhouse
The mission at 6th Street Playhouse is to create artistic and educational experiences that inspire, enrich, and entertain. To further this mission, we are excited to offer our first season of student matinees with a performance of To Kill a Mockingbird! The link between live theater and student success across all subjects, in terms of analytical thinking and testing is proven and significant, and we want to make that experience available to the students of Sonoma County. Please accept our offering for your students’ enrichment.
To Kill a Mockingbird

Few perspectives on American society have been as perceptive, or as poignant, as those of a young girl in 1930s rural Alabama. As her father defends a black man framed for a crime he did not commit, she and her brother witness their community divided over issues of injustice and racism.
The performances will take place in our GK Hardt Theatre, 180 seats available.
A Post Show discussion will be offered and will immediately follow the performance. This discussion will be facilitated by our dramaturge and will include some of the cast of To Kill a Mockingbird. Approximately 20 mins. Also, a study guide will be available on our website by September 1, 2018: 6thstreetplayhouse.com/student matinee
