GEORGE M! tells the life story of George M. Cohan, a giant of the American musical theatre who gave us such songs as Yankee Doodle Dandy, Over There, You’re A Grand Old Flag, and Give My Regards to Broadway, and who transformed the Broadway variety show into a book-driven musical, where song and dance actually advance the plot. We follow him over a 60-year period from the vaudeville circuit, to New York, where he starts his 25-year absolute reign of the Broadway stage. Joe Favalora* (Crazy for You) returns to the Playhouse stage in the title role.

"A dance-filled staging...with spirited performances." (David Templeton - North Bay Bohemian)
"'George M!' at 6th Street is thoroughly entertaining, infectiously patriotic, and has some really fine tap dancing to boot, something you don’t often see on North Bay stages." (Suzanne & Greg Angeo - For All Events)
"The title role is played by Joseph Favalora, a terrific dancer who has brightened Sonoma County stages before with his talent...The show really comes alive during the large ensemble numbers when there are 30+ tap-dancing feet on the stage." (Harry Duke - For All Events)
