2008-2009 Season Schedule Announced

The 6th Street Playhouse announced its 2008-2009 Season line-up on April 6th.   The schedule includes four musicals and seven plays.  The eleven-show season will open on August 15, 2008, run through July 12, 2009, and include 44 weeks of performances.  

Shows in the GK Hardt Theatre:

• The Music Man - Music by Meredith Willson
  
• Death of a Salesman - Arthur Miller
  
• Always, Patsy Cline - Ted Swindley
  
• The Scene - Theresa Rebeck
  
• La Cage Aux Folles - Music by Jerry Herman
  
• I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change - Music by Joe DiPietro & Jimmy Roberts
  
• In the Mood - Conceived by Patrick Watkins
  

In addition, the School of Drama will return with its presentation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Shows in the Studio:

• Sweetest Swing in Baseball - Rebecca Gilman
  
• Molly Sweeney - Brian Friel
  
• The  Blue Room - David Hare
  
• Well - Lisa Kron
  

For Your Consideration will be a new Studio series which will include publicly performed, staged readings of new scripts under consideration for upcoming Studio seasons.  Audience/Artist discussions will follow each reading.
