It is Christmas eve, and George Bailey is ready to end it all. His dreams of travel and adventure have been quashed by notions of family obligation and civic duty, and he now faces financial ruin – a complete failure in his own estimation. George’s guardian angel descends to show him the realities of what the world around him would be like, had he never been born. George sees that it truly is a wonderful life! In a newly revisited musical version, this play not only celebrates the season, but also the importance of family and community.
