This premiere rock opera production, written by area composer and musician, Glenn Siegel, is set during WWI, however its message of love triumphing over adversity is timeless. An elderly woman tells her grandchildren of her early years with their grandfather, when the demands of war sadly separated them. As their story unfolds through music, song and imagery, the audience is reminded to take nothing for granted: to become active participants in "gladly embracing the time there is."
