A Christmas Story

Written by Phillip Grecian
Directed by Bronwen Shears
Based on the motion picture by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown, and Bob Clark
Through the nostalgic recollections of his grown-up self, we follow nine-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas! Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher, and even Santa Claus himself at Goldblatt's Department Store. The consistent response: "You'll shoot your eye out." It's all here in this loving stage adaptation of the perennial cult holiday classic film: the family's temperamental exploding furnace, the schoolyard bully, the boys' experiment with a wet tongue on a frozen lamppost, the Little Orphan Annie decoder pin, the Old Man's FRA-GEE-LAY Leg Lamp, and the best Christmas present ever!
The cast features John David Vozaitis as Ralphie Parker, Ari Vozaitis as Randy Parker, Kim Williams as the mother, Mark Bradbury as Ralph/Narrator and Chris Schloemp as "The Old Man."
