Death of a Salesman
By Arthur Miller
Directed by Sheri Lee Miller
Willy Loman is a traveling salesman who has worked for the Wagner Company for thirty-four years. He is now sixty-one years old and has been taken off salary, put back on straight commission, and he is unable to earn enough money to pay the bills. During the course of the play, Willy's sons and wife are confronted with the harsh reality of Willy's financial and moral decay. Arthur Miller's play is an unflinching examination of the price that the blind pursuit of the American Dream exacts upon the individual, the family and society.
