Jared directed The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged), Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge, The Comedy of Errors, and FairyWorlds!. Jared was the mask/movement specialist for The La Jolla Playhouse musical Around the World in 80 Days with music by Ray Davies of The Kinks and directed by Des McAnuff. He also wrote the book for an original musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s Cymbeline, called Spellbound! at Phoenix’s Desert Botanical Garden. For Shakespeare Sedona, a summer festival he founded, he directed Kathy Fitzgerald in the inaugural production of A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. Jared directed over 33 productions in 16 years for Southwest Shakespeare Company in Phoenix, where he was the Producing Artistic Director. Mr. Sakren is a graduate of The Juilliard School, a founding member of The Acting Company (under John Houseman) with whom he performed on Broadway, off-Broadway, and on national tours.


Arthur was an American playwright, stage director and screenwriter. After writing scripts for radio shows after college and then training films for the U.S. Army during World War II, Laurents turned to writing for Broadway, producing a body of work that includes West Side Story, Gypsy and Hallelujah, Baby!, and directing some of his own shows and other Broadway productions. His early film scripts include Rope for Alfred Hitchcock, Anastasia, Bonjour Tristesse, The Way We Were and The Turning Point. Laurents died in 2011.


Leonard was an American composer, conductor, author, music lecturer, and pianist. He was a former music director of the New York Philharmonic and composed music for West Side Story, Peter Pan, Candide, Wonderful Town, On the Town, On the Waterfront, Mass, and a range of other compositions, including three symphonies and many shorter chamber and solo works. Many of his works are regularly performed around the world, although none has matched the tremendous popular and critical success of West Side Story. Bernstein died in 1990.


Stephen is an American composer and lyricist known for more than a half-century of contributions to musical theatre. He has received several awards, including an Academy Award, eight Tony Awards, eight Grammy Awards and a Pulitzer Prize. His best known works include: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, West Side Story, Gypsy and Into the Woods.
