Kit Grimm as Ebeneezer Scrooge/Ensemble
A retired USCG officer with a doctorate in education and a degree in Theatre Arts from SRJC, Kit most recently appeared as Giles Corey in Lucky Penny’s production of The Crucible in Napa. Previous favorite 6th Street roles include Colonel Pickering in My Fair Lady and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family Musical, among others. Kit hopes you’ll come to see him in January for the presentation by Sonoma Arts Live of The Dining Room. Enjoy the show (no humbug)!
Joy Bessonen as Ensemble
Joy has been acting since the age of seven, but her love of theatre took off when she played the role of Kim McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie at RVMS. Joy is currently a student in the ArtQuest Theatre Arts program at SRHS. Her first production with 6th St was this past summer when she played Amber Van Tussle in Hairspray. When not acting, Joy can be found singing, playing the ukulele and writing songs.
Isabella Brenner as Little Nell Cratchit/Fezziwig Daughter/Ensemble
Isabella is delighted to be back at 6th Street Playhouse. She's an avid theater student and has been acting since age eight. Most recently, she appeared in Once Upon a Mattress and 6th Street Playhouse's professional production of A Christmas Story as Esther Jane. Other credits include Juliet in Summerfield Waldorf School's production of Romeo and Juliet and Hera in The Iliad.
James Cote' as Cratchit Child 2/Young Ebeneezer Scrooge/Ensemble
James Coté has appeared in the past two productions of A Christmas Carol at the 6th Street Playhouse, initially playing Tiny Tim, then as he grew taller, moving into the role of Peter Cratchit. He recently played Simba in 6th Street's Summer Youth production of Lion King Jr., and will soon be seen in The Music Man at Spreckels Performing Arts Center. James is fluent in French and loves the ocean.
Serena Flores as The Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet To Come/Ensemble
Serena is honored to return to another 6th Street Playhouse production. She was last seen in the off-6th St production of The Rocky Horror Show and last season's The Threepenny Opera, and her performance as “Francine/ Lena” in their critically acclaimed production of Clybourne Park received a Best Actress nomination from the 2015 Theatre Bay Area Awards, and the show won Best Production, Ensemble and Direction. Past performances include: “The Witch” in Big Fish and “Rose Alvarez” in Bye Bye Birdie. Some of her favorite roles include “Anita” (West Side Story), “Marlena Madison” (Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story), “Lucy” (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), “Chiffon” (Little Shop of Horrors), “Nickie” (Sweet Charity), and “Lady Jacqueline” (Me and My Girl).

Len Improta as Gentleman Collecting for Christmas 2/Jacob Marley’s Ghost/Clarence (the angel)/Edvar/Mr. Fezziwig/The Beadle/Ensemble
Len is thrilled to be back at 6th Street where it began with Guys and Dolls. He went on to perform in musicals: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cabaret, Reefer Madness; Dramatic roles: Witness for Procreation, Antigone, Stalag 17, and Othello; Movies: Bottle Shock, Not Fade Away, and this spring in Thriller 2 when he will play a reporter. Len is a lyrical baritone with dramatic overtones. He is happiest singing in his low Tesatura. Please stop by after the show and get his card. He also runs his own accounting business.
Deja Jones as Young Jacob Marley/Zuzu Bailey/Ensemble
Deja started dancing at the age of six. She has performed with The Movement Lab and Le Studio Danse. In more recent years, she has been developing her art on the stage. She has performed with 6th Street Playhouse as Old Monkey in The Jungle Book, as Snoopy in last holiday's A Charlie Brown Christmas, and this past summer's The Lion King, where she took a lead role as Scar.
Laura Levin as Mrs. Fezziwig/The Beadle’s Wife/The Nice Mrs. Cratchit/Monica (Lovely Irish Voice)/Ensemble
Laura is elated to be included in the 6th Street Playhouse family. A Santa Rosa native, Laura was last seen in Bob: a Life in Five Acts (Mainstage West), as Zoey in Don Juan in Chicago (Pegasus Theater Co) and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Elizabeth in Richard III, and Inez in No Exit (Actor’s Basement). She would like to thank her tribe of family and friends for their continued support!
Tika Moon as Mrs. Bob Cratchit/Ensemble
Tika is delighted to be returning to the 6th Street stage. She was previously seen many moons ago, as Widow Corney in Oliver! Last October she came out of hibernation to play Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd at the Raven Players. She has performed in numerous productions, too long to list (and would probably bore you) so instead she will leave you with these words of wisdom: "Life is an adventure, why not have lots of fun along the way?"
Maggie Ward as Cratchit Child 1/Ensemble
Maggie is thrilled to be in her first production at 6th Street Playhouse. She is nine years old and in the 4th grade. Favorite roles she has played include: Annie in Annie, Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast and Brigitta in The Sound of Music. She looks forward to next playing Young Fiona in Shrek the Musical next summer at The Raven. Maggie would like to thank her family for their love and support.
Erik Weiss as Tiny Tim/Fezziwig Daughter/Ensemble
Erik is excited to be in another 6th Street production! Recent stage credits: "Riff Raff" in The Rocky Horror Show, "Snoopy" in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, "The Professor" (Harpo) in Animal Crackers, "Frankie" in Forever Plaid (6th Street Playhouse), "John W. Hinckley Jr" in Assassins (Narrow Way Stage/Sonoma Arts Live), and "Roat" in Wait Until Dark (Spreckels). When not acting, Erik makes short films, works at Disguise The Limit Costumes, writes, plays several instruments, and designs makeup for film/theatre. Conor Woods as Bob Cratchit/George Bailey/Ensemble
Conor has been with 6th Street since September '16, where he appeared as a musical vagrant in The ThreePenny Opera. Conor is also the Technical Director for the playhouse, having a hand in each set since his arrival in Sonoma County. A native of Massachusetts, Conor made his way to California with the help of Sacramento Theatre Company, where he was seen last year as the titular Hound in The Hound of the Baskervilles, among others. Woof. He most recently appeared in George M! and FairyWorlds! at 6th Street.
Eric Yanez as Gentleman Collecting for Christmas 1/Serena the Maid/Bartender/Hedwig/Tess’s Voice/Ensemble
This is Eric's second theatrical performance. He is a Sonoma County native who enjoys the little things in life such as a nice beach sunset, tiramisu and a good glass of wine. He was last seen in the Macy's elevator in San Francisco in a suit saying to all the passengers in a stern voice, "I guess you are all wondering why I gathered you here today." He gave them all a raise. He's not sure where he will be next, but if you see a guy in a suit with a serious face, you may just get that raise you've been waiting for.
