Holly Vinson was raised in Hollywood by parents who were professional television writers and was influenced by her grandfather who was a respected actor. Holly attended San Francisco State College and then went to New York. She did summer stock at the Pocono Playhouse in Pennsylvania, and toured the Midwest with the National Children’s Theatre Association. In addition to her position as Director of Education for the 6th Street Playhouse, Holly is currently teaching at Brush Creek Montesssori School. She founded Summer Theatre Workshop for Santa Rosa Players in 1994. Her directing credits include: Godspell, The King and I, Wizard of Oz, Oliver!, Peter Pan, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, A Year With Frog and Toad, Bye,Bye Birdie, and Beauty and the Beast.
