Ken Ludwig - Playwright

Ken is a two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright whose work is performed throughout the world in more than 30 countries in over 20 languages. He has written 25 plays and musicals, with six Broadway productions and seven in London’s West End. His first Broadway play, Lend Me A Tenor, won two Tony Awards. His plays and musicals include Crazy For You, A Fox on the Fairway, and Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, among many others. In 2017, his adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, written at the request of the Agatha Christie Estate, premiered at the McCarter Theatre, and his newest play, Sherwood opened at The Old Globe.

Carl Jordan - Director

Carl is a freelance director/choreographer working and living in the Bay Area. A professional dancer, he also has degrees and experience with Musical Theater and Drama. Carl is pleased to be back at 6th Street; his previous productions include Clybourne Park, Boeing Boeing, and One Man, Two Guvnors. Awards include 4-time SFBATCC Award (Best Director, Best Choreographer and Best Overall Production), Theater Bay Area Award (Best Director) and TBA awards for Best Overall Production and Best Ensemble. He has also received the 2017/2018 Marquee Theater Journalists Association Most Outstanding Drama Production award. His next production will be Born Yesterday at Sonoma Arts Live in April 2019.
