Colin Escott - Book

Colin is the author of Good Rockin’ Tonight: Sun Records and the Birth of Rock ‘n’ Roll, the first in-depth account of the Sun Records story. His book Hank Williams – The Biography has been adapted into the movie I Saw the Light, starring Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen. His multi-CD box set, The Complete Hank Williams, won a Grammy, and another of his productions, B.B. King – King of the Blues, was nominated for a Grammy.

Floyd Mutrux- Book

Floyd has conceived, written, directed, or produced 50 films, including Dusty and Sweets McGee; Freebie and the Bean; Aloha, Bobby and Rose; The Hollywood Knights; American Hot Wax; Dick Tracy; American Me; Blood In, Blood Out; There Goes My Baby; and Mulholland Falls. With Colin Escott he helped adapt Sun Records, the new television series based on Million Dollar Quartet.

Michael Ray Wisely - Director

Michael Ray is pleased to make his 6th Street Playhouse debut with Million Dollar Quartet. Originally from the East Coast, he has worked as a director, producer and writer for over 25 years. A founding member of AlterTheater of San Rafael and founder/director of Wise-Owl Films, his directing/producing credits include more than 100 productions on stage, in film, and radio. Most recently in 2018 he directed Million Dollar Quartet for Sierra Repertory Theatre in Sonora. As a writer, he has worked for Dick Clark Productions in Burbank, Amazing Events in Mt. View, and many of Silicon Valley’s largest companies. An award winning actor, Michael Ray has worked Off Broadway, regionally, and internationally, on stage, for television, film and radio.
