Mollie Boice as Ouiser

Mollie is happy to be doing Steel Magnolias again. She last played M’Lynn at SRT about 25 years ago! She has spent over 55 years in the theater, playing Martha in Virginia Woolf, Eleanor in Lion in Winter, Vi Weston in August Osage County, and over 200 other shows, including getting to do Shakespeare on ice! Theater is an adventure to her, where anything might happen, and sometimes does.

Kate Brickley as Clairee

Kate has been a working AEA actor since 1976. She has performed in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Grapes of Wrath and August: Osage County among others at 6th Street. Other Bay Area theaters where she has worked include the American Conservatory Theater, Main Stage West, Spreckels Theater, and San Jose Rep. She has also worked in Seattle at Seattle Children’s Theater, Intiman Theater and ACT/Seattle. Voice and dialect coaching is something that she enjoys and that keeps her involved in live theater when not acting. This performance is dedicated to Gigi Sue and Bear and the rest of Kate’s much loved Tennessee family.

Crystal Carpenter as Annelle

Crystal is thrilled to be back at 6th Street Playhouse! After a long theater hiatus for wedding planning, marriage and a honeymoon (such wonderful new adventures with her love!), she is so happy to be back on stage for her next adventure as Annelle. She was last seen in A Christmas Carol and New Voices on the Vine at 6th Street Playhouse, The Plot Against Shakespeare at Shakespeare in the Cannery, and Don Juan in Chicago at Pegasus Theater. 

Jennifer Peck as Truvy

Jennifer studied at ACT in San Francisco, Tisch School of the Arts in New York City and the Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York and LA. Theatre: Doris in Same Time Next Year, Molly in The Threepenny Opera and Vera in And Then There Were None. Film & TV: Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine, San Andreas, HBO's Looking, and Shake, which debuted this year. Ellen Rawley as Shelby

Ellen made her Sonoma County debut in the 2016 6th Street Playhouse production of The Threepenny Opera as Smith, the Reverend, and Coaxer. She gets her love of theater from her parents, Lynn and Dennis Roggemann, who took her to watch great actors perform on Broadway throughout her childhood.


Jill K. Wagoner as M'Lynn

Jill is a veteran of numerous Bay Area stages from Sacramento to Fresno to San Francisco, having performed leading and supporting roles with Dreamweavers Theatre, Nicholson Ranch Players, Festival Opera, Verismo Opera, Hoochi-Doo Productions, Sonoma StageWorks, Silver Moon Theatre, Goat Hall Productions, Sonoma Arts Live, Spreckels Performing Arts Center and 6th Street Playhouse. She has also been a featured concert hall soloist with The Valley Girls, The North Bay Opera Theatre Ensemble, SamAntics, Solano Choral Society, The Opus Project and Irregular Resolutions.
